ENTRANCE AND EXIT PROCEDURE

  • The gate code will be sent via email the evening prior to your appointment. We recommend you have the code to hand during your visit.

  • Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, if you arrive and see somebody using the field, please remain in your vehicle. This is of the UTMOST importance as the previous client’s dog(s) may need space from either you or your dog(s).

  • Once the other user has left the area, they will close and lock the gate. Please note that the gate MUST be closed behind you when you leave and enter the area.

  • When you leave there may be someone waiting for you to leave. You must lock the gate when you exit the area (taking care to reset the padlock combination), whether someone is waiting or not, this is to ensure that only clients who have the code can enter the field. If the previous user stays past your start time and they do not appear to be leaving, please call me on 07821 659915

  • Your dog(s) must be on a lead anywhere outside of the field. The field is based on a working farm with farm machinery moving around throughout the day.

  • If you arrive late for your appointment, you must still leave at the end of your appointment time. Please contact me if you do arrive late and I will let you know if there is another client after you if I can extend your appointment I will. Anyone who overstays more than three times will be refused future use of the field.

  • If anyone enters the area whilst you are using the field, please call me on 07821 659915 immediately as people need to wait outside.

  • The Client shall ensure that the premises are secure at all times and shall not divulge any lock combination codes under any circumstances to any third parties.

  • The codes are subject to change at any time by Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field without notice

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • The client has exclusive use of the field for their booked appointment. Any persons in the client’s group must adhere to these terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in removal from the field immediately.

  • Under no circumstances should dogs be left on the premises unattended at any time. This includes being tethered in the field or left in the vehicle whilst the client is exercising another dog. This will result in an instant ban from Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field for both the client and their dog(s).

  • Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field has a strict no smoking/vaping policy on the premises. Any client found breaking this policy will incur a permanent ban from future use.

  • Any children under the age of 16 are to be supervised by the client at all times.

  • The client shall not bring any drones or any high-flying objects as the field is located too close to buildings and livestock.

  • The client shall not bring any article of inflammable or explosive character or that produces an offensive smell, or CFC, or any oil, electrical gas or other apparatus.

  • No barbeques will be permitted.

  • Only dogs known to each other are permitted to use the field, Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field will not allow dogs that are ‘strangers’ to each other to use the field at the same time, unless it is a session that has been arranged by Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field.  We ask that the mobile that was used for the booking to be carried with you at all times, so in the event of an emergency you can be contacted without having to enter the field and cause you and your dog(s) unnecessary distress.

SCOOP YOUR OWN POOP POLICY AND LITTER

  • Please supply your own poo bags and dispose of in the bin provided, which is for dog waste only.

  • Any other household waste or damaged toys must be taken home with you.

  • Due to the nature of the field, it is possible that you may not see where you dog has pooped. If you do happen to come across a poo that someone else has missed, then we kindly ask you to pick it up. Hopefully, by doing this then all users of the field will collectively help to keep the field in a clean condition for all users.

  • Do not drop litter anywhere, please take it home with you

  9. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzle when in the car park

  10. Lead and muzzles can be removed ONCE the dog is in the secure field and the gate has been shut behind you.

  11. Lead and muzzles MUST be put back on BEFORE leaving the field and entering the car park.

  12. If the household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together with just one handler. Please make sure you book the appropriate session for the number of dogs.

  13. Unfortunately, XL Bully's cannot use Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field to meet up with dogs from other households, even if they are muzzled.
