Will there be other dogs in the field?
The field is for your exclusive use, so when you book a slot it will only be you and your dog(s) in the field. Although you can invite your friends with their dog(s), provided the dogs already know each other, to share it.
How do I book and pay?
Bookings can only be made online and you can pay by credit or debit card. You will then be sent a confirmation email.
Can a group of us come together on one booking?
Absolutely, we would love for you to bring your friends. As long as the number of dogs doesn’t exceed the amount the slot was booked for. We can have up to 6 dogs in one session.
Is there a maximum amount of dogs I can bring?
Yes, you can bring up to 6 dogs and they must all know each other. The booking options break this maximum amount into 2 groups and charges accordingly. For 1-3 dogs its £10/hour and for 4-6 dogs its £14/hour.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week and have seasonal opening times. October – March 08:00 – 18:00 April – September 06:00 – 21:00
Do I need to clean up after my dog?
Yes, you do. We ask, as part of the terms and conditions, that you pick up after your dog. By doing so you will help to keep the field clean and in good condition for the next client. There will be a bin provided
Do I need to bring poop bags?
Yes you will need to supply your own poop bags
Do I need to keep my dog on a lead?
At Rowton Grange Dog Field we have designed the car park in such a way that even the most excited hound can be secure before it has even exited your vehicle. You will be able to safely secure your vehicle, so that if your dog excitedly exits the vehicle before you have chance to put the lead on, then the dog is not able to go anywhere. The car park will be fenced in the same style as the field and will have a gate, again in the same style as the field.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times when in the car park area.
Is there car parking available at the dog walking field?
There is parking, on hard standing, for 2-3 cars. The car park is fully secure in the same style as the field and can be completely shut off from the farm track so any loose dog(s) shouldn’t be able to venture any further than the car park or the dog walking field.
Where is your dog walking field?
Our field is located about a mile off the A458, the turning is opposite Rowton Castle Hotel. The what.3.words location is: samples.bookmark.compiled
Are there toilet facilities at your dog walking field?
Currently, there are no toilet facilities available at our dog walking field.
Is your dog walking field secure?
We have installed fencing that is 1.8m high but customers should satisfy themselves that the fencing is adequate for their dogs before entering the field.
I need to cancel/amend my booking
Cancellations and amendments can be made up to 24 hours prior to the appointment start time. Please note that we do not offer refunds should you not show up for your booking or cancel within 24 hours of your session start time.
Is there a supervision or dog walking service available?
There is no supervision or dog walking service available at Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field. Clients must be with their dogs throughout their slot.
