XL BULLY POLICY
XL Bully’s have always been and will continue to be welcomed here at Rowton Grange Secure Dog field. However, there are a few requirements that must be adhered to, to be compliant with our insurance.

After the 31st January 2024 you will be asked to adhere to the following rules
-
The dog is registered with the index of exempted dogs (IED) and a copy of life certificate is obtained and provided to us (either electronically via email or hard copy, no photos) before using the field.
-
A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us before using the field (either electronically via email or a hard copy, no photos)
-
The dog handler ratio is 1:1. The dog must be with their handler at all times.
-
The dog is neutered in line with the Government rules (deadline is 30th June 2024 or 31st December 2024 for those that are currently under 1 years old)
-
The dog is micro-chipped
-
The field is private property with no public access passing through
-
The field is securely fenced and locked so that the dog cannot escape
-
You will need your own padlock to lock yourselves in. We won’t need a copy of the key/code as the padlock in place is the property of Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field and will only be accessed in the case of an emergency.
-
The dog is kept on a lead and muzzle when in the car park
-
Lead and muzzles can be removed ONCE the dog is in the secure field and the gate has been shut behind you.
-
Lead and muzzles MUST be put back on BEFORE leaving the field and entering the car park.
-
If the household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together with just one handler. Please make sure you book the appropriate session for the number of dogs.
-
Unfortunately, XL Bully's cannot use Rowton Grange Secure Dog Field to meet up with dogs from other households, even if they are muzzled.
